I'm looking for some people to help deal with the spam around here.

With the kit sales starting up again, I want a good area for people to come for support.

How about adding a better screening of new member applications? Maybe one which requires a human moderator approval.

On a totally unrelated note, I got this at the top of my screen:

Welcome, sje.

Almost exactly four years; I've checked often but hadn't actually logged in to post.

If you're looking for a spam moderator, seriously, I'll volunteer. I keep bouncing back here every few days anyway, hoping for updates and news, so I can try to keep tabs on the spam.

I used to be a bulletin board operator in the 80's. (showing my age ) I wonder if you still want people to remove the spam from the site? I'm new here but have been long time VCF and N8VEM member.

I've enabled user moderation and have banned quite a few garbage domain names. I've been deleting around 150-200 new accounts a day for too many days. I would like to eventually open up user registrations again if I can find out how to absolutely eliminate these guys! It really hurts my feelings, in the most manly way I can describe... This is just pure vandalism...

These robots have guessed my registration questions! But, none of them fill in the optional fields that I TELL people to fill in OR ELSE!

I will add a moderator or two soon. I hope that once kits start going out that this place will actually see some traffic!
