Default VTL-3 for DOS

Does anyone have the VTL-3.com (32-bit for DOS) available? The author listed inthe VTL-2 manual can't be reached by email anymore.

Thanks

Tom Lake

Talking vtl

Hi Tom;
When Intel first came out with the 8086, they also had a translator available that translated the 8080 code into 8086, until there was time to do a rewrite for the program in 8086 code... If you can find a copy of that program , it might be a short term solution for getting the program running under Dos....Until you or someone could rewrite it for 32 bit Dos....
THANK YOU Marty

We LOVE long stories! How about making it available right from your Website's download area? That would free up your time for other pursuits such as, hmmm, I don't know... maybe building my ACR boards? If you don't want to put it on your Website, then could you please send me a copy? Thanks

OK, I'm still waiting for a copy! Your post was on 8/14/09 and it's 9/27/09 now. Are you still with us?

P.S.

Default Email me for a copy.

Also, VTL-2 for DOS.

That was written back in 1998; but I still keep copies.
I haven't been online for over two years or I'd have replied before now.

Don't know if it's possible; or I'd attach a copy here.

mccoyf@millcomm.com

Now if I could just get copies of the latest stuff (Memory-Test and VTL-2) I wrote for the 8800 that I lost with my computer ....

Oh well.
I still have paper copies.
Probably a little OCR work will do the trick.
I'd prefer the originals though.
Save me a lot of work reconstructing things.

Wow! What a blast from the past.

Somebody told me about this forum but I had to see it to believe it! VTL, still alive an kicking after all these years. Considering that I assembled the very first version by hand (before Frank walked into The Computer Store and offered the use of his cross-assembler) I am mildly, but pleasantly shocked to see that it still survives.
