Default cassette interface

Is the 88-ACR - Cassette Tape Interface Card Set in any way compatible with the old standard Tarbell Cassette interface?

No, the frequencies are different. I did see a mod in an old Kilobaud magazine whereby a Tarbell cassette interface card could be modified to work use the MITS conventions. It included a switch to revert to the original Tarbell behavior. If Grant wants to post a copy of the article on his Website, I'll send him one.

I would like that. I also have instructions on how to modify the 88-ACR to work with KCS tapes.

Ack! My memory must be faulty. The only article I could find was to modify the Tarbell board to use KC tapes. I'll send it to you anyway and if you don't need it, oh well.
