Altair Kit Ser# 8 arrived in Australia!

Got my Altair kit yesterday. Took about a week to get through Australian customs and cost about $260AUD in duty and GST. Was expecting this, but thought it might be of interest to potential customers in Australia to give an idea of what to expect and factor that into the cost.

I have to say the kit looks fantastic! Grant has really done a magnificent job here. It is as well presented as a classic Heathkit, particularly with regeard to the documentation Grant has provided.

I won't be starting on my kit for a couple of weeks due to being busy with other things. Of course I want to savour the experience rather than rush it!

Will post to report my progress once I've started construction.
