I've shipped three or four of these kits to Australia and for the first time the post office wouldn't take the box. They said it was 96 inches in length width and height plus the widest section, or some other formula. The limit is 72?
I'm not sure I will be able to cut the box down more than about 8 linear inches, so it sounds like all international packages will have to go FedEx. The current kit buyers from Switzerland and Australia will get upgraded to FedEx for no additional cost. I have never had so much fun at the post office... |

I found out that the girth limit for Global Express is 72 inches and my box is 92. I guess I'm lucky that I got through so many over size boxes. What really annoys me is that the postal guy said my other option was Global Express Guaranteed when I can also use International Priority Mail... I love the post office...
