I had to force myself to stop punishing the poor Altair 680.
Using a 16k memory card in the Altair 680 I started this factorial program at 2:01:40AM. I decided to stop it at 1000! (monk would be proud) at 3:20:25PM. Thats 13 hours 19 minutes and 45 seconds!
Frank McCoy has VTL running in a DOS box on his computer. He said it took a few seconds to get past 2000!. He said that with 16k the Altair 680 should eventually get to 10000. Next time I go on a vacation I might leave the 680 on.
