Altair 8800 Kits Shipping
I just sent out the invoices for the people currently ON the waiting list. I also have many requests from people not currently on the waiting list, and I will get to those as soon as the people currently on the list have been taken care of.

Other requests for things like PCB/manual only kits will also be taken care of after the current list has been taken care of.

It came down to 18 reservations for 22 cases, so if 100% of the kits reserved for are sold, then there will be 4 left. If some decide not to buy, more spaces will open up.

The kits are ready to ship upon receipt of the check/money order, or if absolutely necessary...PayPal.

4 kits have shipped so far!

Sorry for this latest delay...I programmed the direction on a robot at work incorrectly and it dove off the end of a pipe. :)

Hi Grant,

...I'm still waiting for the invoice-email.

When did you sent it?

So far I've had 2 bounce, yours and Matthew S. I will try as hard as I can to contact him.

Altair Invoice
Hi Grant,

Please check your PM regarding my invoice.

I've shipped three or four of these kits to Australia and for the first time the post office wouldn't take the box. They said it was 96 inches in length width and height plus the widest section, or some other formula. The limit is 72?

I'm not sure I will be able to cut the box down more than about 8 linear inches, so it sounds like all international packages will have to go FedEx.

The current kit buyers from Switzerland and Australia will get upgraded to FedEx for no additional cost.

I have never had so much fun at the post office...

I found out that the girth limit for Global Express is 72 inches and my box is 92. I guess I'm lucky that I got through so many over size boxes. :) What really annoys me is that the postal guy said my other option was Global Express Guaranteed when I can also use International Priority Mail... I love the post office...

When's the next build?

For those of us that apparently didn't make the cut for the last run, are you planning
another? I want to get on the list again please. Thank you. Chris
