VTL-2 source?
Does anyone have the VTL-2 source (as found in the manual) in a machine
readable form suitable for passing through an assembler? I've started typing it in from the pages in the manual... but thought maybe someone may already have it available?? If not, I'll keep typing... Chris |
Yes, I have the 6800 VTL-2 sources. I typed it in from the manual, and at the same time translated it to standard Motorola assembler syntax, and added some comments. The listing is byte-identical with the listing in the manual, so I don't think I made any mistakes. I was using it to test a 6800 emulator I wrote, and it seems to work. What's the best way to get it to you?

wow... excellent. Grant and I were discussing it off the forum and I agreed to type
it in in original form. I had already started putting it in and converting it to standard Moto assembly as I went (which you have already apparently done). I would take a copy of what you have and then I will volunteer to type in the original stuff in the macro syntax that was originally used and then make it available here. It might be difficult to prove I haven't made typos but maybe I can whip up a translator or something in PERL to cross check it. If you wish to email me a copy, you can send it to: n0jcf@arrl.net Thanks! Chris |

Sure. I'll try to attach VTL.TXT (S1/S9 image of VTL) to this message. I might even do it right.
