My AltairKit arrived!

I received it yesterday. I opened it up quickly, and took a look at it, then put it back in the box. I have been wrestling with whether I should start building it right away, or put the kit under the Christmas tree and start after the holiday. Today I got the kit out again, opened it up and took some pictures.

Then I put it back in the box. It looks great, but I'm going to try and wait until Christmas!

I started a webpage to show the step-by-step assembly of the AltairKit. Right now, it just has details of the eBay auction, and on Unpacking the kit. I was able to take over 50 pictures, just of unpacking everything. It all looks fabulous.

Thanks again Grant, for putting this kit together. It should a real joy to assemble, and I guess that's why I want to savor it until after the holidays.
