Dazzler Board, Altair Basic or CP/M

I am using the Altair32 emulator until I can afford a kit. When I load Dazzle writer it comes up with no problems. It loads into memory at 5000 (Hex)

But when I have to stop the system to set up the switches for the bootrom, to load altair basic for example. It stops the dazzle writer software right in its tracks. What can i do?

I'd like to see the output of altair basic on the Dazzler board (Emulation), I know this can be somehow.
